BEFORE the treatment
- As with all our BBL treatments, we recommend no tanning 4 weeks prior to the laser hair removal (thus we typically do not perform laser hair removal during the summer months). We also do not want you to do any type of hair removal for 2-4 weeks prior to the treatment, but the day prior to the treatment we recommend you to use a razor on the hair that is to be removed – this allows the laser to target the follicle more effectively.
DURING the treatment
- The procedure takes anywhere between 15-30 minutes depending on the area needing to be treated. There is some discomfort associated with the procedure and feels like a gentle rubber band against the skin – we do make the procedure as comfortable as possible; thus, continued communication is key.
AFTER the treatment
- After the Forever Bare BBL™ treatment, you may experience a mild stinging sensation or feel like you have a sunburn, but this usually subsides within a few hours. If needed, you can take Ibuprofen or Tylenol for relief. Initially, you may notice that the hair appears thicker, but this is a natural part of the shedding process. By around the third treatment, the hair should become thinner and lighter. While some people may experience complete hair loss, others may opt for once-a-year maintenance to prevent regrowth.
