Pre-Treatment Instructions
To prepare your skin and ensure the best results, please avoid the following for 5–7 days before treatment:
- Exfoliants such as retinol, glycolic acid, salicylic acid, or other active acids
- Other facial treatments or procedures that could irritate the skin
- Laser treatments in the same area
- Prolonged sun exposure or tanning (including self-tanners)
During the Treatment
- A customized peel solution is applied by a trained and licensed provider
- You may feel mild tingling, stinging, or warmth as the solution penetrates the skin
- Any sensation typically subsides within a few minutes, and your provider will monitor your comfort throughout
Post-Treatment Instructions
- Mild redness, sensitivity, or tightness (similar to a light sunburn) is normal in the hours following treatment
- Depending on peel depth, skin may begin to flake or peel within 2–3 days—this is part of the natural exfoliation process
- As dead skin sheds, fresher and smoother skin is revealed
