Forever Young BBL™

Forever Young BBL™

Forever Young BBL™ is a revolutionary treatment that can help you turn back time and achieve younger-looking skin by changing gene expression. Stanford University conducted a study on this treatment, and you can refer to it for more information.

BBL (BroadBand Light) is an advanced version of IPL (intense pulsed light) and is safer and more effective. While traditional IPL addresses sunspots and blood vessels, BBL can also fine-tune treatments to address anti-aging, active acne, pore size, and post-injection bruising, with minimal or no downtime. Whether you have acne, signs of aging, sunspots, enlarged pores, or rosacea, this treatment is a valuable addition to your skincare routine.

During the treatment, the light energy heats the top layers of the skin and stimulates collagen production, which leads to younger-looking skin. This treatment is effective on all areas of the body, including the face, neck, chest, arms, and hands. It is particularly beneficial for areas like the decollete and forearms, which are often neglected but can experience significant sun damage.

Forever Young BBL™ is the only energy-based device that has been shown to change gene expression at the molecular level and target genes associated with aging. This treatment offers a safe, non-invasive, and effective way to achieve younger-looking skin and turn back the clock.

4-6 Treatments, 1 month apart

BEFORE the treatment

  • We will not perform this treatment on any tanned skin. You must have not had a tan for at least 4 weeks before we can perform this treatment – this includes tanning beds.

DURING the treatment

  • The procedure usually lasts around 30 minutes. First, we cleanse the treatment area and apply ultrasound gel. W do not typically use any numbing agents with BBL, as we want to ensure that you can provide feedback throughout the treatment to help us achieve optimal results. Despite the heat and a sensation similar to a rubber band hitting the skin, this procedure is generally very well-tolerated.

AFTER the treatment

  • After a BBL treatment, some redness and mild swelling are expected, and if we’re treating a specific brown spot, it may appear darker and develop “micro-crusting”. It’s important not to pick at the micro-crusting as it’s part of the treatment and will naturally fall off. To minimize redness, we recommend avoiding spicy foods, alcohol, and exercise for 24 hours after treatment. Good sun hygiene is also crucial, so it’s best to avoid direct sunlight for a few weeks after the treatment and protect yourself with hats, long sleeves, and sunscreen when you’re outdoors.
  • For optimal results, we suggest three to five corrective BBL treatments spaced four weeks apart. Afterward, maintenance treatments one to two times per year are recommended.
