Pre-Treatment Instructions
To prepare your skin:
- Discontinue retinoids/retinols and exfoliating acids (glycolic, salicylic, lactic, etc.) for 3–7 days prior
- No additional special preparation is required
During the Treatment
- A topical anesthetic is applied and left to numb the skin for about 60 minutes
- The Morpheus8™ device is then applied to the treatment area, using ultrafine needles with radiofrequency heat to remodel collagen at varying depths
- Most clients find the procedure tolerable, with minor discomfort managed by numbing and cooling measures
Post-Treatment Instructions
- For several days post-treatment, use only a gentle cleanser, moisturizer, and sunscreen
- Temporary side effects may include:
- Redness
- Tenderness
- Swelling
- Minor grid-like marks from microneedling stamps (fade as the skin heals)
