HALO™

HALO™

The Ultimate Glow-up Technology

At Sorora, we are excited to offer the HALO™ laser treatment, which is a game-changer for skin rejuvenation. In just one session, this powerhouse treatment can make your skin look brighter and more youthful. The HALO™ laser is a cutting-edge technology that can address a wide range of skin concerns, including fine lines and wrinkles, sun damage, scarring, uneven skin tone, and enlarged pores.

The HALO™ laser uses both ablative and non-ablative modalities, which work together to provide the most comprehensive laser resurfacing treatment available. The 2940 nm wavelength targets the superficial epidermal cells, while the 1470 nm wavelength penetrates deeper into the skin. This combination allows for significant results with minimal downtime and little to no discomfort.

Unlike traditional ablative lasers, which can be aggressive and require a longer recovery time, the HALO™ laser produces noticeable results after just one session. We typically recommend two sessions for maximum results, although you will see a difference even after one treatment. Additionally, a maintenance program is key to keep your skin looking refreshed and rejuvenated, without any invasive procedures – this typically involves a treatment every 1-2 years.

If you’re looking for a non-invasive solution to address your skin concerns, the HALO™ laser is an excellent choice. Book your appointment today and discover the power of this incredible treatment.

Pre-treatment

  • If you have lighter skin tone, typically no pre-treatment is required. However, if you have a darker skin tone or have a history of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, we recommend a pre-treatment with a set of key ingredients to prevent any pigmentary changes. This treatment is suitable for all skin types and tones and is ideal for those looking to rejuvenate, reduce signs of aging, and refresh their skin. Please note that we do not perform this treatment on any area with active infections, including acne. If you have a history of herpes simplex (cold sores), please inform us before the treatment.

DURING the treatment

  • We do use topical anesthetic cream for anesthesia this ensures that the procedure is as comfortable as possible. The laser glides over the skin and can cause a feeling of heat and prickles. We do use cooling technology at the same time again for comfort measures.

Post-treatment

  • The treatment can cause some discomfort, leaving the skin warm and red, similar to a sunburn. To maximize the results of your treatment, we provide a skin kit and recommend using regular emollients to keep the skin hydrated. It’s important to avoid excessive rubbing or skincare for the first few days, except for proper sun protection and our recommendations. After a couple of days, you may notice small brown or red dots all over your face, which is a normal part of the healing process. It’s important not to pick at these dots, as they are a sign that the procedure is working and allowing the skin to heal and rejuvenate.

Can I get laser treatments in the summer?

This depends on your lifestyle. If you can avoid prolonged sun exposure then yes, you can get laser treatments in the summer. If you plan on being outside in the sun without protection (SPF & a hat) then we would recommend that you postpone your treatments until the fall or winter.
